Synopsis DE

Eigentlich ist der 72-jährige Arthur (Terence Stamp) ein schüchterner und mürrischer alter Mann. Doch als er sich in seinem hohen Alter noch einmal dafür entschliesst, Mitglied in einem Chor zu werden, soll sich seine Einstellung zum Leben von Grund auf ändern. So lässt die charmante Chorleiterin Elizabeth (Gemma Arterton) neue und beinahe vergessene Lebensfreude in Arthur aufkommen.

Synopsis FR

Arthur est un retraité londonien timide et grincheux. Sur pression de son épouse adorée, il rejoint à contrecoeur une chorale locale peu conventionnelle. C'est Elizabeth, la directrice du choeur, qui va apprendre à Arthur à apprécier la vie. Il va devoir surpasser son caractère taciturne pour s'engager sur le chemin gratifiant d'une nouvelle vie joyeuse et musicale.
